About the CRI Makerspace
The MakerSpace is a hub for creativity, collaboration, and innovation, strategically located in the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI) in Corner Brook. It provides access to a wide range of tools and resources for students, faculty, and community members to bring their ideas to life.
The MakerSpace invites you to come in and engage with cutting-edge tools and resources. Its open approach fosters creativity and collaboration across diverse disciplines, encouraging innovation and learning within a supportive environment.

Makerspace Events
The Makerspace hosts a number of events, workshops, and clubs for the community. Learn about our upcoming and recurring events below. Please note that some events require a Makerspace community membership and to sign up for the event in advance. Please click on the event for more information about joining.
DIY Nights
Offered in collaboration with the DIY Society of Western Newfoundland, the DIY nights offer an opportunity to explore your ideas, continue working on a project, or start a new one. You can bounce ideas off of other people around you. The goal is to share knowledge and support each other in the creative process.

Our Makerspace features state-of-the-art equipment and friendly staff to help you run it. We have tools for everything from 3D printing to welding to sewing. Some of our equipment requires certification to use, and all of our equipment can be booked through the member portal - another reason to become a member today!
