Anybody can make a documentary–no experience required!  In this workshop we will explore everything you need to make a documentary from start to finish.  From a few basic filmmaking principles to hands-on practical info on how to shoot interviews, collect b-roll, and edit in free software, we will cover all the basics of how to make a documentary using widely available tools (a cellphone and a computer).

We’re excited to welcome Sarah Murphy from Pelorus Venture Capital as our special guest, who will connect with the local entrepreneurial community. It’s a great opportunity to learn about venture capital in Atlantic Canada, share your ideas, ask questions, and meet fellow enthusiasts passionate about startups, innovation, and community growth.
